I'm back :D

Monday, June 15, 2009 { 7:43 PM }

Through you, I can do anything
I can do all things
'Cause it's you who gives me strength
Nothing is impossible!

Every fight in our minds,
Every victory dance.

I believe I can.

I apologise for these crazy posts which seemingly have no meaning at all!
Or rather, a meaning you may not understand.

{ 9:25 AM }

Whatever it is, remember to have fun :D

Going off in a day's time; not including today.
I promise I am going to study at night everyday. (So much for a holiday, huh?)
Well, I'm not that pessimistic! My Chemistry TYS(Twenty Year Series) is going to be with me wherever I go :D Or maybe not. Just at night. It'll be my darling for 10days straight. Plus a little math.

To all of you out there!
Stop worrying about anything and everything now!
Channel all your energy into doing something which is more productive.
It'll turn out fine in the end! Definitely.
Of course, who hasn't slipped and fallen before?
But isn't it natural that when this happens, we pick ourselves up again?
When we compare ourselves with babies, sometimes I find that we aren't even up to match in that sense.
Don't let obstacles conquer you; conquer obstacles.
Another thing I took back from Resilience workshop: Winners say "If I can't, then I must"! :D

Jessie! Throw it away and focus on the next batch! It may turn out better than ever, trust me.
Take this chance to turn things around(:

In every situation we face, praise God :D!

Jesus take the wheel
Take it from my hands
Cause I can't do this on my own
I'm letting go
So give me one more chance
Save me from this road I'm on
Jesus take the wheel

Whether or not we've noticed it, God has blessed us immensely in so many different ways.
God has blessed me. With friends who understand, friends who encourage, friends who correct in love. So many other things which can't be listed out one by one as well! Let's start counting our blessings and focus on what God has blessed us with instead.

I've set my heart on doing that, how about you?(:

Your grace is enough
Heaven reaching down to us
Your grace is enough for me
God I see your grace is enough
I'm covered in your love
Your grace is enough for me
For me

Yes, Lord! I see that Your grace is enough. More than enough, really.
The Resilience Workshop, on the whole, was relatively good. Probably one of the best workshops I've ever attended. The videos they showed us on Mattie, Nick Vujicic, Tony Melendez and the rest were absolutely touching. They reflected how much God has used them and how much He has blessed them despite the fact that they may have deficiencies and handicaps.

Well, I suppose anyone can gather that they are Christians. Christians who praise God no matter what comes their way. I've really really took away a lot from the workshop in this sense. Philippians 4:13 came to my mind, the verse about God using the less able, the young and the weak to shame the strong, about God being able to use anyone if we allow Him to..
It is indeed amazing how God can use them to help people, to just impact the world for Him. Seeing how they hold on to their faith in such times, hold on to their faith despite the fact that they may seem lesser than others on the outside, makes me feel so inferior. Yes, I am able bodied, I am capable of doing so much more physically. Yet I complain about everything that isn't going my way, I lament about what God hasn't given me. When I look at them, they really display amazing faith in Christ. Yes, they may be less than whole on the outside to many of us. Yes, they may not be able to go about doing things like anyone else does. But! They are whole in Christ alone. They are grateful for whatever God has done in their lives. They really count their blessings.

What about us? The rest of us who are normal, normal as can be. We complain, don't we?

God has given me breath everyday to live, four limbs to walk and play. He has given me so much more than I could ever ask for. But I find myself constantly unsatisfied. My hunger for better things never seemed to cease. I obviously haven't thought of how much God has blessed me. Without Him and His amazing grace, I may not even be in this world. What more can I ask for from Him? He has given His life for me on the cross. Nothing else matters anymore! He was willing to sacrifice His life, for all of us. Can there be greater love than this?

I can't really put into words what I feel. It's just welling up in me so much I can't express myself. I've realised how extremely fortunate we are and how we should ALWAYS, ALWAYS praise God. 'Cause He is all we need and He wants the best for us.

I can do all things through Him who gives me strength.
God can use anyone!
Christ died on the cross for us. Greater love? No other.
Forgive, just as the Lord forgave. (This is something I really understood after seeing how the woman who got burnt in an accident survived 60% of burns on her body and yet is able to hug the mother of the person who was responsible for the accident.)

Yeap! I think the workshop wasn't all about resilience to me. It was more than that.

Wicked.
Okay, Radical Conference was and still is beyond exclamation or explanation.
Really brilliant.

A maths test Number One is OVER.
I'm glad I've been during papers consistently; spares me the revision when tests come along.
Chemistry and another A maths test this Thursday(:

Enjoyed at Sakae today with Daniel, Bingchen, Shicheng, Chanel and Jessie!
Bingchen is NUTS and absolutely full of crap, but in a good way.
I've learnt his tactic ^^!
Really loved eating with them!

Germany from 17th onwards!
Chocolates and gummy bears await me!
I hope we do get to go to the Berlin Wall though :/
I'd love to see what we actually study in History real live.

So, what are we inputting into other's lives?
(I've asked myself this question so many times this week.)
Positive or negative things?
Are we truly shining the light?

Dynamic Thinkers are confident and independent persons. They radiate enthusiasm and energy. Dynamic Thinkers pursue their objectives actively and energetically. They love nothing better than new challenges. This type is the born leader, competent, energetic and responsible. They have a sharp eye for errors and can criticise without mercy if they see the success of a project endangered. They are completely unconcerned as to whether they alienate anyone in the process. But they are always open to objective arguments; they love discussions, they are very gifted rhetorically and they are good at convincing and enthusing others.

As they are very sociable, Dynamic Thinkers like to have a lot of friends around them, preferably those with whom they can share their interests and discuss all sorts of subjects. They are very direct but never in an underhand or scheming manner. If you can bear being spoken to frankly, you have in them a loyal and unwavering advisor as friend. Everything new and unknown stimulates Dynamic Thinkers and awakens their curiosity. However, rules, routine and traditional things arouse their resistance. If something does not go the way they want it to, they can react rather pigheadedly and obstinately.

Dynamic Thinkers expect a great deal of themselves and of others. Whoever does not fit in with their scheme of things does not have it easy. They sometimes appear to be rather severe due to their frankness. Partners and family also find it difficult to satisfy Dynamic Thinkers. They know exactly what they want and compromising is inconceivable to them. Whoever has an Dynamic Thinker as partner should have a strong personality and have a great deal of independence and sufficient self-confidence in order to give this dominating type some opposition. Normally, for Dynamic Thinkers, a partnership only takes second place after their profession. But they like to have someone at their side who is a match for them intellectually, with whom they can pursue mutual objectives and have interesting discussions all night long; preferably factual discussions - sentimentalism and romance are not their thing.

Lol, really nothing to do.
Third post in a day.

I do agree with the part where I can persuade others though.
The test we took during Career Workshop backs it up as well. Ha.

p/s you don't have to read the above.

{ 9:41 PM }

Talk about sense of accomplishment.
I finished 5 A maths papers within two days(:
Most of them, at least.
Going to fill up those blanks by Thursday.

Did the MCQs and several open ended questions on Metals in my TYS!
Revising again tomorrow after school!
Whoopeeeee. All humanities+double math lessons tomorrow.
I wonder whether I'll bore myself to sleep.

Atikah! You'll have fun carrying your present home tomorrow!

{ 2:30 PM }

Things to do:
(In order of importance. That is, to me.)

#1 Revise for Chemistry tests!!!
#2 Bring Chemistry assessment for Mdm Yaw to look through.
#3 Sign Report Book
#4 Complete A math papers(Questions which I've left out)
#5 Do chinese assessments.

I doubt you'd have to bother asking me why I put chinese as last.
It's a chore x)

School tomorrow!
